Dissertations on the philosophy of art from the perspective of analogical hermeneutics

In the article I present four interpretative approaches: one on music in
general and three on Mexican pictorial works, trying to show the relationship between
art and ontology. For this, I make a minimal theoretical contextualization on the
hermeneutics proposed by Mauricio Beuchot, and then I review the topic about the
meaning of music through some ideas of George Steiner and Eugenio Trías. Finally, I
make a brief exegesis of a painting by Miguel Cabrera, and of two murals by José
Clemente Orozco grounding my interpretative assertions in the analogical
hermeneutics.
