Abstract

The aim of this article is to analyse forms of discrimination and common sense references over inequality, based on a probability survey of 800 cases in the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires. Our questions aim to unravel categorizations and stigmatization, modes of perceiving and meaning that are established among the population. Especially, in relation to the forms of social relationships which are linked with ethnic and class classifications. The results show diverse intensities in the social legitimation of inequalities in Buenos Aires.
