This article explores the relationship between the celebrity system surrounding American stars and the promotion of tourism in Cuba between 2015 and 2019, partially breaking the American embargo and Cuba's restrictions on the Anglophone cultural industry. It analyzes the historical relationship between the American music industry and Cuba, the transformations in the Cuban tourism sector, and the influence of celebrities in promoting Cuba as a tourist destination. The research reveals the complexity of cultural and political relations between Cuba and the United States, highlighting the importance of the cultural industry and tourism in contemporary times.
