Relevancia en medios digitales. Análisis del tratamiento del debate presidencial argentino durante la campaña de 2019

Electoral contexts are favorable moments to study the behavior of media agendas. The mandatory presidential debate held in Argentina in October 2019 was the first of its kind and its particular features made it an event that stood out from the campaign. The objective of this paper is to analyze the relevance of the debate in TN and Infobae, two national cybermedia. For this, a content analysis is made, from the identification of a series of features of digital environments. It is observed that the possibilities of the hypertextual, interactive and multimedia level are still used in a limited way. Additionally, an episodic treatment of the presidential debate is noticed, predominantly framed as a horse race.
