Justiça social na Tanzânia e em Gana. As filosofias e práticas sociais de Julius Nyerere e Kwame Nkrumah

O artigo se concentra em filosofias sociais africanas representativas selecionadas que enfatizam a justiça social. A contribuição original do artigo é a interpretação dessas filosofias sociais a partir da perspectiva de dois aspectos interconectados com relação à sua revitalização atual: (a) levar em conta a base em relações intersubjetivas de solidariedade em uma comunidade para (b) desenvolvimento com ênfase em elementos estratégicos, especificamente na propriedade pública de infraestrutura crítica e outras características econômicas semelhantes. A primeira seção do artigo analisa o conceito de filosofia social de Julius Nyerere e as intenções do autor de aplicá-lo à prática no contexto do desenvolvimento da Tanzânia, especialmente após a conquista da independência do país. Em seguida, a segunda seção procede de forma semelhante com relação à filosofia social de Kwame Nkrumah dentro da estrutura do desenvolvimento de Gana. A interpretação mostra comparativamente as semelhanças e diferenças nas obras desses autores e coloca suas atividades locais e nacionais no contexto das interações pan-africanas e globais. A conclusão, além de um resumo das principais ideias do artigo, também formula uma possível atualização não apenas em muitos países do Sul Global.
